First time at SoulLink?

INFORMATION FOR GROUP LEADERS

Whether it’s your whole group’s first time or they’ve come for years but you’re new as their youth minister, welcome! We’re so glad you’re joining us for this weekend of worship, serving, learning, and fun!

This page has information that we think is helpful if you’re new to SoulLink.

  • What is SoulLink? SoulLink is a weekend long youth event where we gather together as a large group for worship, service, learning, and fun. But ultimately, it’s more than a youth rally. More than an event. More than a weekend spiritual high. We hope and pray it creates encounters for students with God that will change the trajectory of their lives. That it will lead them to what and who matters most. And that it will help create and strengthen connections among your youth group as you grow in Christ together.

  • What is SoulLink’s address? SoulLink is held at Bammel Church of Christ which is at 2700 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068.

  • What time should my group get there? Check in begins at 6:30 pm and our first event starts at 7:30 pm. Our Opening Session for worship and keynote will begin at 8:15 pm. We recommend trying to get there between 6-7 pm but we know that doesn’t work for everyone with traffic and traveling. Whenever you arrive, go to the Check in station first.

  • Where do we park? Bammel has parking across from the main building and also further down outside the Teen Center.

  • Where do we go for check in? Check in is by the cafeteria near the Bammel offices. You’ll likely see SoulLink volunteers greeting you and pointing the way.

  • What’s nearby to SoulLink? There are also many restaurants near Bammel, some fast food and others more sit down. If your group needs to eat before or after the event, these are some nearby options: Shipley’s Donuts, Chick-fil-a, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Panda Express, Subway, Whataburger, Raising Cane’s, and many more! Also, Food Trucks for Lunch on Saturday will be on site. We suggest bringing $10 for students. And dinner Saturday night, food will be provided. A few gluten free and vegetarian options will be provided at lunch.

  • What are the lunch options ON CAMPUS for Saturday? Chick-fil-a, Jason’s Deli, Bullrito, and Pizza will be provided for lunch on campus as well as Entertainment for the entire group. Aggies for Christ will also be available to help with logistics of groups.
